Tip:
~Everyone should own a black pencil skirt. They are a classic timeless piece that will NEVER go out of style and they go with everything. Plus don't you feel supah dupah fly in a black skirt? Like a sexy secretary or something ;)?
So I have something to discuss with you guys.....
I have been thinking about doing a "Weekend Wear" fashion link-up party every week.
What do you think?
I am just super scared no one will link up and I would feel sheepish?
Let me know you thoughts!
Thanks for stopping by have a great day friends! Love, love.

i'd do it.
ReplyDeletemotivate me to not wear the same thing every sunday :)
I would totally link up! (as long as I could get someone to take my pic!)
ReplyDeleteReally cute scarf btw! and I love that you post how much (actually how LITTLE) you paid for everything :)
i might do it some weeks. like Dawn said...it would motivate me to actually look cute once a week and try new outfits. experiment like i used to do in high school or before i got married. but...no promises. cuz if i DON'T dress up, I won't link up. Obvi. but i think it's a great idea!
ReplyDeleteYES! Post up the link party! It'll be fun!
ReplyDeleteI would link up my What I Wore Wednesday post probably (since it has my weekend wear already) You could invite those participants too...at the Pleated Poppy...You should do it!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could do it... but I would feel like a shlup who doesn't know a thing. I like fashion, but I only pretend to know what I'm doing! I like to read yours though!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute outfit Morgan! I'm accessory-challenged. I love studying your weekend outfits (in a good, non-creepy way, of course).
ReplyDeletemy first time here....this site is so fun! Great bargains on this outfit! It's been ages since I've bought anything new! Can't wait to keep reading some more here! :o)
ReplyDeleteI would do it. You have inspired me to find cute stuff to change out my Sunday wear. I found a skirt last week for $5 and then I picked up a shirt for $3, found cute heel at DSW for $20. I know a bit pricey but they were originally $150. I could not pass them up. I had a cardigan and pearls in the closet. I felt so cute that I should have taken a picture but my hubby left early for meetings and I was in my louge wear by the time he got home from afternoon meetings.
ReplyDeleteCute scarf idea. I'll have to try that.
ReplyDeleteheck ya! lets link up some serious weekend wear!!!! we are in!

ReplyDeleteFABULOUSITY!!! Loves it all, and the shoes and watch with that pop of color... FAB. P.S. I don't think girls with hips and a big badunka dunk LOOK good in pencil skirts... LIKE MY-SELF! pre- 3 kids maybe... but not now lol!
ReplyDeleteHeyyy! I'm a new follower from New Friends Friday! I think your blog is super cute and I can't wait to see what else you have! And I think the idea of having a Weekend Wear Blog Hop is an awesome idea! It might just take a couple weeks to get it out there in blogland! Good luck!
