#15: Grammys

February 15, 2011

{Coral Top: F21, Tan Jacket: Thrifted, Levi Flare Jeans: Dillards, Teal Heels: Thrifted, Purple/Barney Beret: Aeropostale, Nixon Watch: ? Gift, Necklace: Charlotte Russe}

I cannot believe we haven't talked about this yet!
What the crap was up with Lady GaGa at the Grammys??
She arrived in an egg.......AN EGG!!!
Bwahhahahahaha! (Promise I am laughing right now at this)!
I give her props for always being so gutsy, but this is just too sci-fi crazy weird for me!

I didn't actually watch the Grammys, I just watched Fashion Police The Grammys Edition last night (can I just say that Joan Rivers is my favorite! She seriously has me in stitches/peeing my pants the whole show) and saw this, all I can say is, BANANAS!!
I also watched a style profile that featured Lady GaGa and Madonna...never thought of this before but they are pretty similar...except for Madonna is amazing I mean she was the first to be all crazy and original.

My fave look would have to go to:

JLO!!!

She looks smokin right? I love how the dress is reflective, it looks like itty bitty mirrors on there! And those legs, WOW I need to hit the gym immediately, I don't think it is even possible for me legs to look like that they are too overridden by cellulite!!

So who was your guys' fave??
Is is possible for legs to even look like that with out being surgically altered??
Who wants to become my personal trainer? I can pay you in smiles and high fives...???
Anyone??

Love, love.

  1. I was actually watching an episode of Fashion Police a few weeks ago (funny coincidence, except for I watch that show all the time, so it's not strictly speaking a coincidence =), and they showed a picture from J.Lo on tour and pointed out how, in reality, EVERYONE has cellulite, especially when they're 40-ish and have given birth. The picture clearly showed some cellulite.

I'm guessing she used some bjillion-dollar firming cream for the night.

  5. Look at that, I am wearing jeans and a beige blazer with blue shoes. Great minds think alike. But is that what that egg was about. That is so funny and weird. I love JLO I hope to be her one day. One more butt surgery and JLO here I come. I'm kidding.

  6. Fashion police is hilarious! I don't have cable at home, so I watch it at the gym. I struggle to work out because I'm laughing so hard!

And what the crap is up with Lady GaGa everyday?

  7. I loved Nicole Kidman, no one really blew me away though. I'm more excited for the Oscars! I love your color, your necklace is so pretty.

  11. Great color combination. I would have guessed the necklace as vintage. It looks great with the outfit. And I love J. Lopez. I read somewhere she was a workout freak. So maybe real leg...maybe altered. I love American ideal because of her and Steven Tyler.

  12. Ooh, would we call that a dress? I'd call it a tunic. But, hey, if I had legs like that, I'd wear tunics as dresses too.

  15. I just responded to your comment on my blog about the irony of wishing I had YOUR hair. Too funny. But really, your hair completely trumps mine, for the record. I may need to find out your pretty hair secrets, stat. And how to wear a beanie because I cannot pull one off!

Oh and I merged my "fashion" blog with my old one so you can now find me at:

    Call Me Life

P.S.- that egg thing was ridiculous!!

  19. Oh my gosh, hilarious. I was on a plane so I missed the Grammy's and before and after shows but when I saw a clip of Gaga on the news. I just had to shake my head.

Perhaps I can work a Gaga egg inspired outfit into my 30 for 30 though. Thoughts?
