Things I Learned While In Vegas

May 31, 2011

{(I wore this to see The Lion King!!) Lace Dress: Target, Pashmina: Gift, Shoes: JCrew via Downeast}

Guys let me first say I missed you so so much, but had a wonderful time. Some R&R is just what we needed. The weather was perfect, I however over did it as seen in the pics above on the sun... I was renamed Lobster for the remainder of the trip. I did however learn some very valuable lessons while in Vegas I thought I would share since they may be some help to ya'll in the future ;):

~The shorter, and tighter the dress the better.
~Pretty sure they got it wrong when they say everything is bigger in Texas, everything is WAAaaay bigger in Vegas. It takes forever to get anywhere, and the casinos are totally designed as mini mazes, you can never find your way out ;)!
~Crocheted swimwear is accepted.
~Drunk people will constantly be running into you.
~Vegas is kind of like New York's kid sister, they have a lot of the famous places there!
~The world's largest H&M is awesome but had little to no neon...I've been dying for neon lately!
~Seeing a Vegas show is a must. Like I said we saw the Lion King and it was amazing!!
~Wearing fancy clothes in Vegas is so so much fun, and also sort of a must ;)! Something with glitz is mandatory ;).

All in all we had a great time, I honestly was like a toddler on the way home throwing a temper tantrum on the plane, I didn't want come back to dreary UT ;)...wish I was kidding ;). Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend! Also thank you, thank you, thank you, to all of my wonderful guest posters this past week! Love, love.

ps: I have an awesome surprise for you tomorrow!

pps: Entered yet?

    Your dress is darling
    and I have a horrible obsession with Vegas. I go there way too much...but the shopping is so fun and good restaurants and lets face it the people watching is out of this world. It beats Disneyland and the airport a million times over.
    and you can wear fancy clothes just because
